BRSCC Mazda – Cadwell Park 2020

It was great to get the team back together this weekend for the first re-organised round of the BRSCC Mazda racing.

We were happy to see our regulars back under the awning and the humour, banter and team camaraderie was brilliant to see and be part of given how the world has changed in 2020.

Some great racing all round from our drivers and we got to christen our new lorry and awning for the weekend although hopefully we can get the awning up a bit quicker in the future!

Of particular note on the driving front was Sam Smith who joined the team and the Mk3 Supercup racing at the 11th hour for the first time this weekend and walked away with a P2 and a win from his first races.

Well we’ve all managed to come down from our first delayed race weekend of the season at the amazing Cadwell Park.

As always we’ve pulled together the highlights of what the BC Cars cameras captured during the race and put to music to give you some idea of what actually goes on in a Mazda race.

It was good to catch up with racing friends, some of whom we hadn’t seen since Silverstone in September 2019!
Feels like 2020 will continue to be a strange year but as a racing family hopefully we all get through this safe and well.
